Konverge uses a well-researched psychological system to identify your personality type with a quick questionnaire. 

There are 16 types, all of which have been assigned a unique colour so that you can easily identify which types are compatible with you in a visual way. These 16 fall loosely into 4 categories: the Greens, Blues, Pinks/Purples, Oranges/Reds - all sharing similar characteristics within these categories. 

The 7 keywords for each type are not a holistic representation of your entire personality, just a quick overview to help people recognise what makes you unique, and is customisable for each user.

Selecting 'Search' via the bottom navigation bar takes you to the Search page. Tap the grey rectangular field at the top of the page to start typing your search.

 You can search by Name of the person, or search by the Skills you are looking for in a person. Press enter and there will be blue rectangles displaying the profile pictures and names of people that are the best matches to your search.

Firstly, head to the App Store or Google Play Store and download Konverge. Once downloaded, open the app and you can either press 'Get Started', or use your Google/Apple accounts for a speedy signup process. 

Fill in a few details, and then complete the verification process, where a One Time Passcode that you need to enter into the app will be sent to your phone.

 Next, follow a series of instructions that take you through creating your profile. This involves choosing some skills, filling out information about your business ideas, and completing a personality questionnaire. 

For this questionnaire, slide the slider to 'Agree' or 'Disagree' to the statements, and the distance that you slide the slider with indicate the strength of your response. This will result in your personality profile, where you can drag and drop the keywords that best suit you on the results page. 

This should complete the signup process, but we recommend fully filling out your profile in the 'Edit Profile' settings page in order to get the best results from the matching on our app.

On the first page of the app, tap the text that says 'I already have an account' (blue text at the bottom of the page, just above Terms & Conditions). 

From there, if you signed up by creating a password, then enter your phone number and password into the text fields on this page. If you signed up with your Google/Apple accounts, select the corresponding white button to log back in with those accounts.

You can type the skill you are thinking of into the search bar, or simply scroll through the menu to find skills. 

Once you have decided, tap the skill you want to select. This will be indicated by a 'tick' icon next to the skill, and the skill you have selected should appear at the bottom of the page.

 As you select more skills, they will continue to appear together at the bottom of the page. If you wish to remove any, press the small cross or 'X' next to the skill to remove it. 

Once you are happy, scroll to the bottom of the page and press the green button to Continue. You must select at least one skill to be able to continue.

Select the stage of your business idea from the 4 options on this page. 

After tapping one of them, a grey box should appear, and you can tap on this to start typing a brief description about your business idea. 

Once you are done, click the green 'Next' button to continue.

If you don't have a business idea yet, don't worry! Simply tap 'No idea yet' and then press the green 'Next' button to continue. 

You can always come back and change this later if you get a business idea in the future by going to the settings page and selecting 'Edit profile' and then 'Business idea'.

Head to the settings page (found by tapping the 'cog' icon on the 'Profile' section of the app). A side menu on the left should appear. Tap 'Edit Profile' to open up this page in the settings. 

From here you can change the visibility of information on your profile using the toggles on the right, and edit any details by tapping the name on the white text or pressing the 'pencil' icon on the left side of each item.

Head to the settings page (found by tapping the 'cog' icon on the 'Profile' section of the app). A side menu on the left should appear. Tap 'Edit Profile' to open up this page in the settings. 

From here you can change the visibility of information on your profile using the toggles on the right, and edit any details by tapping the name on the white text or pressing the 'pencil' icon on the left side of each item. 

Once you switch the toggle off, this item will not be shown to any other users in the app. (It will still be shown to you when you look at your own profile).

There are 2 ways to match with someone: When using the matching feature, our AI algorithm recommends matches for you based upon your personality and skill set. If you both swipe right, or accept the notification, it’s a match! 

Secondly, you can search for someone’s profile, click the three dots and press ‘Match’ to send them a request. If they accept the notification, it’s a match!

You can only message or receive a message from someone you have matched with. 

If you want to message a specific person, go to their profile, tap the three dots and send them a match request by pressing 'match'. If they accept, you will be able to start chatting with them. 

Konverge uses an AI algorithm to find perfect matches for you. Lots of research has been conducted to find the perfect formula for successful business partnerships, as 23% of businesses fail due to a lack of chemistry in the founding team. 

Our AI identifies your personality characteristics, and based upon data, matches you with personality types that are complementary to yours. As a simplistic example, if you are ‘creative’, in business you need someone who is analytical/numerically focused to create a well-rounded team that can overcome any challenge. 

In addition to this, the AI will take into account your skills, and the skills that you indicated you were looking for to tailor matches just for you. 

The result is potential partnerships that are crafted to have the highest possible chance of business success.

There are two types of match requests on the Konverge platform: 1) Algorithm matches - these are match requests that come from a user swiping right on your profile in the 'Matching' section of the app. This means that the AI algorithm has recommended that you will be a perfect business match for each other based upon your personalities, as your profile has appeared in their feed of recommended profiles to match with. 

2) Manual matches - these are match requests that come from a user searching your profile, tapping the three dots, and selecting the 'send match request' option. This means that you and this user are not necessarily a perfect business match as it has not come from the Konverge algorithm (although you could still be a successful match)

Use the bottom navigation bar to select 'Match'. Once on this page, tap the green 'bell' icon in the top right, and this will open up your match request notifications. 

You can view either your manual matches or algorithm matches by tapping the corresponding text to switch tabs.

From your profile page, you can swipe to the right and a side menu will appear, or click the settings 'cog' icon. At the bottom of this, there is a delete account button (you can also access this from the settings). 

You will be asked if you are sure, and if you confirm this action, your account will be permanently deleted.

Your data is completely removed from our system. We do not keep any personal information about you, or your Konverge account. This means we are unable to recover any accounts that are deleted.

Your safety comes first on Konverge. If something happens that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it. There are two different ways to block someone on Konverge - you can either search their profile, or tap to view profile from a conversation. 

When viewing someone’s profile, you can then tap the 3 dots and select the ‘Block’ option You can manage your blocked users in the settings of the app.

You can manage your blocked users in the settings of the app under the Privacy section. 

From there, you can see all the users you have blocked, and toggle the slider to unblock them.

Once you have completed the signup process, use the black navigation bar at the bottom of the page to select 'Profile' to go to your profile page. 

Then tap the 'cog' icon in the top right corner, and this should open up a black side menu on the left side of your screen. 

From here you can select any of the settings pages by tapping the white text for whichever page you wish to visit.
